note that only a small proportion of our stock is shown & photographed
on this web site, you can order these models using the shopping
basket - the remainder of models that are listed on our Product
stock lists and are available - If you would like
to order any of these listed models you can use the Secure Order Form that can be found on our web site or you can contact us via telephone,
fax, post or e-mail. Look out for our regularly updated Special Offers. If you would like to receive E-mails every few weeks containing New Release information and any Special Offers then please let us have your e-mail address.
Privacy Policy
We respect each site visitor's right to personal privacy. To that
end, we collect and use your information in accordance with the
following privacy policy.
The information we collect:
- Is used purely to process your order
- We do not keep customer information for more than 30 days.
Payment
If paying by cheque, items may be reserved by e-mail or telephone.
These will be held for seven days and dispatched on receipt of order
and payment.
The vast majority of our stock is new & boxed - Only
a small proportion is secondhand. An honest appraisal of the condition
of these ‘second hand’ items is given on the stocklists
if applicable, mainly 'old' Corgi, Dinky, Dublo etc - however, if in any
doubt please telephone or e-mail before ordering.
A handling charge of £5.00 per model is made for models ordered
by mistake - goods are NOT supplied on approval.
'STANDING ORDER' customers obtain an extra 5% discount. INTERESTED?
E-mail or telephone or write for details.
If you have received goods that are not required, are dissatisfied with any goods or have ordered them by
mistake please telephone or e-mail immediately and return goods, at your expense,
within 2 weeks, in original condition and packed properly, stating
reason for return. A credit note (or a refund if requested) for
the original goods total minus a 5% or £5.00 handling charge
per model, (whichever is greater) will be sent. Goods are not supplied
on approval, only order it if you want it! We do not take a deposit for pre-orders / advance orders - but on most occassions, we order the model specifically for YOU, so if the model has arrived into stock and we are in the process of packing / sending / or have sent the model and you decide to cancel - you will be charged 25% of the models cost - DO NOT ORDER ANY MODEL FROM SWAPMEET MODELS IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE CONDITIONS.
If you want to cancel an order in advance of it being sent - Please do so in writing as soon as possible - You will be charged a cancellation charge of 25% of the models cost - The cancellation MUST be done in writing - then no mistakes are made.
In case an item is out of stock, please indicate either if you would prefer:- a second
choice, the model to follow or hold as credit.
Payment can be made by CASH, CHEQUE, POSTAL ORDER, BANK TRANSFER, SWITCH CARD,
SOLO, PAYPAL, DEBIT CARD, CREDIT CARD, VISA or MASTERCARD. Please
state your card number, expiry date, issue number, 3 figure security number from the back of the card, full name,
registered card holders address, delivery address if different, contact telephone number & e-mail address if possible.
If paying by a Bank Transfer - PLEASE NOTE - Please ensure that you inform your bank that you, the customer are to pay all bank transfer charges in your country and here in the UK - otherwise we will not receive the correct amount for the models - thank you. Also, please make sure that you add sufficient money to cover shipping costs, especially from overseas - if in any doubt please ask for an estimate before arranging the Bank Transfer.
Please make cheques and postal orders payable to "SWAPMEET
MODELS". (PLEASE WRITE YOUR CHEQUE GUARANTEE NUMBER & EXPIRY
DATE ON THE BACK OF THE CHEQUE.)
If your cheque or credit card is returned to us from our bank,
unpaid, all relevant charges will be charged to your account.
Payment by PAYPAL is accepted - although not preferred due to the high costs charged to us - Please contact us if you require the Paypal payment details.
Visitors are welcome to collect models, but by appointment only
– thank you.
Delivery
UK PARCELS.
We charge for postage and packing but the money IS USED to ensure
you always receive the models and catalogues in 1st class condition.
Please add £4.99 to ALL orders up to £150.00 to go towards
postage and packing costs (Including orders for catalogues). Parcels
containing only 1:43rd cars, 1:24th motorcycles & upto two Minichamps 1:12th scale bikes please add
only £3.99 for P&P, THANK YOU. All UK orders over £150.00 despatched in a single parcel are post FREE, separate parcels of
less than £150.00 require postage and packing to be added to each
parcel.

OVERSEAS PARCELS.
Postage and packing for all overseas orders is at cost (£1
for packing plus actual postage) and V.A.T. is deducted from the models cost for all non EEC
orders. V.A.T. can only be deducted from E.E.C. orders if you are
V.A.T. registered in your country and can supply us with your VAT
number. ALL orders to NON EEC countries world-wide have VAT deducted.

EUROPEAN PARCELS.
For large parcels over 2kg to most European countries we now use a courier - this means a far quicker, trackable service, parcels are signed for and better still a much lower cost for you the customer.
EUROPEAN PARCELS - The European Zones and cost per parcel are as follows:-
ZONE 1:- Republic Of Ireland, Belgium, France (Including Monaco), Germany, Luxembourg & Netherlands - Cost per parcel £16.00
ZONE 2:- Austria & Denmark - Cost per parcel £19.00
ZONE 3:- Czech Republic, Italy, Slovakia & Spain - Cost per parcel £21.00
ZONE 4:- Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Slovenia & Lithuania - Cost per parcel £23.00
ZONE 5:- Bulgaria, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Romania & Serbia – Cost per parcel £42.00
The above service is for parcels over 2kg and the cost per parcel will be the same up to 30kg maximum, i.e. a parcel to France where the weight is 5kg, 15kg or 30kg the cost to you will be £16.00 - We can normally fit 10 to 15 x 1:18th scale models in one box. The very quick courier service is insured, we can track the parcel and a signature is required on delivery.
Any parcels less than 2kg will be sent using the Royal Mail Small Packets Recorded Delivery Airmail service.

ALL PARCELS.
All parcels, UK & Overseas, are insured and are sent by either recorded delivery or courier - A signature is required on delivery.
We can delivery to a work address, but if paying by credit or debit card we also require the full name & home address of the card holder - without the correct home address - the credit card company will not authorise payment and no models will be despatched.
